"All That Glitters" is the ninth episode of season 2 of Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts and the nineteenth episode overall. It premiered on Netflix with the rest of the season on June 12, 2020. It was written by Christopher Amick , Ben Mekler & Taylor Chapulin Orci and directed by Young Ki Yoon .
Synopsis[]
Game on. Kipo just won't give up hope when it comes to finding the good beneath the savagery. Can the Brunch Bunch flip the odds with flapjacks?
Plot[]
Wolf, Dave, and Benson talk to Kipo about their plan. Kipo plans to talk more to Scarlemagne to see if she can talk sense into him, athough she lets her friends believe she is trying to find his weaknesses to undermine him. Wolf and crew go back to get Mandu but Emilia realized Kipo left.
Emilia tells them they're leaving in the morning with or without Kipo. Dave hands her back a nectar bomb, which is really a bottle of perfume.
Scarlemagne and Kipo play board games and talk. Kipo tries to talk him out of the coronation, but Scarlemagne insists that this is what he's always wanted. Kipo runs to get Lio for help- she wants him to make him a starry blanket as a present in order to appeal to the inner Hugo.

Wolf and Benson serve everyone pancakes, calling themselves the "Brunch Bunch", as a distraction for Dave to take the nectar bomb and cave in the tunnel. Emilia notices the journal, "Project Kipo" in Benson's backpack. The bomb explodes and everyone runs. Benson accidentally leaves the backpack. They lock everyone in the tunnel, except for Dr. Emilia by accident.
Lio and Kipo go to Scarlemagne, but he sprays Lio with pheromones to get him to admit the truth of why he's out of his cage. Lio says that he was wrong to forget Hugo and that Kipo has made him see that. Kipo gives Hugo the starry blanket to say she's sorry for everything that happened.
Wolf, Benson, and Dave fight Emilia. She wins and locks them up in a cage. She forgot about Mandu, who had been hiding earlier, but he charges at Emilia and stabs her with Wolf's scorpion stick and she passes out. He lets them out of the cage.
At the coronation, Scarlemagne rides in on the mega monkey while playing the piano. Scarlemagne gives them a choice- become golden furniture or follow him forever. Kipo watches in horror, thinking he would actually make the right decision and not force people to follow him.
Scarlemagne said that he will let everyone go and only follow him freely if she gilds her own father. Kipo refuses. Lio crowns Scarlemagne.
